We’re looking for talented individuals to join the Charging team and play an integral role in delivering new business models, experiences, and capabilities. As a Charging Operations Lead (Deployment), you will support our implementation of Ford Pro depot charging solutions.

  • Building and managing -project teams that will be responsible for on the ground delivery – E2E delivery of charging infrastructure starting with site assessment to depot go live – commissioning and onboarding the chargers to Ford Pro back-end to handing over to After Sales Team – the role starts as individual contributor and build the team as the pipeline of projects grows

  • Working closely with European partners L1 turn-key provider to establish processes and delivery framework

  • Working closely with a diverse set of teams within our charging organization. Both locally as well as on a European level

  • Managing subcontractors to ensure the infrastructure is delivered on time and budget

  • Define a clear programme of works and reporting metrics that should be reported by L1 contractor on the roll-out progress

  • Verify the hardware and work orders quotation ensuring the competitive pricing and enough resource to deliver projects

  • Establishing relationships with third parties in the Markets that can support and speed up the infrastructure roll-out as well as offer commercially competitive services to a designated contractor

  • Review and optimise existing contract structures, defining and implementing renegotiation

  • strategies as required

  • Working closely with Commercial Solutions Team providing necessary support and inputs to customers technical queries

  • Working closely with product managers to ensure that we develop relevant solutions for depot customers

  • Generalist Engineer with a specialization in public works, electrical engineering or electronics

  • 2+ years of experience with deployment of EV charging solutions and/or battery energy solutions

Our preferred requirements:

  • Proven experience in E-Mobility installation (safety management, civil & electrical cable works, transformer substation, etc…)

  • Passion for vehicle electrification

  • Capacity to launch a Tender/RFQ and select the best suppliers (hardware, installers)

  • Strong Project Management Skills and Program delivery experience

  • Effective verbal and written communicator

  • Relationship builder, collaborator

  • Comfort in working in ambiguous situations

  • Experience with goal setting and deliverables tracking

  • Ability to present complex problems and recommendations

  • Ability to collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional environment

  • Ability to work on “white space” projects

Additional information:

This role is field based and therefore the successful candidate will be required to travel as and when required. We are a global team and candidates will need to be fluent in Dutch and proficient in English. Please submit your CV in English.
