Enterprise Business Architecture (BA) shapes Ford Digital Business Strategy through strategic roadmaps and innovative technical solutions by leveraging our expertise and industry perspective across the enterprise.

BA with Data Architecture knowledge helps define and describe the future state of an enterprise’s business processes, technology, and information to best support the business strategy. BA help define the actions required, the overall roadmap, and the standards and guidelines to get from the current state to the desired future state. The core area to support is - Global Order To Delivery / Order Fulfilment (Sales & Marketing)

The work is global in scope which will give the opportunity to collaborate with business partners, architects, product owners, product managers, and product designers around the world. As well provides avenue to develop working relationships with OCIO, product teams, skill team and management.

Candidates should have 7+ years experience in related business/IT including progressive experience in the architecture or engineering space with hands on Business Analysis and/or Product Design and Product management.

The assignment will be challenging and rewarding.

• Develops and/or enhances specific artifacts such as business capability maps and value streams to help bridge the gap between strategy and execution, and helps streamline and rationalize the IT investment processes

• Collaborate with the product/business teams understand related business processes and document

• Develop data models and provide references for data needs

• Gathering and documenting business requirements

• Create business process map, user journey map and data flow integration diagrams

• Support creation of conceptual design proposals from requirements

• Collaborate and coordinate with Solution architects on designing the solution for the requirements

• Develop and maintain enterprise blueprints

• Guides the formulation of a business strategy by defining business architecture with Blueprints

• Apply strategy and raise issues and risks with integration

• Bring outside in perspective for analysis and solution recommendation

• Perform evaluation of vendor product /solution

• Facilitate results-driven meetings

• Drive to follow an idea to its logical conclusion, present PoV and ideas to management in a clear and concise manner.

• Research emerging business trends in supply chain management

Required Skills:

• Strong Business Acumen in end to end supply chain management of Vehicle Sales & Production Planning, its associated business capabilities and solutions

• Ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions Knowledge of Hopex or equivalent EA Modeling tools - Experience creating and using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect and aggregate business capabilities Expertise with Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman

• Expertise in creating business flows, business capability mappings, Blueprints , E2E Landscape Views

• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong communication & Presentation skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and collaborate

• Able to plan and prioritize

• Able to facilitate results-driven meetings

• Stakeholder relationship building

• Good at influencing people

Desired Skills:

• TOGAF/Zachman certified

• Being Agile and exposure using Agile tools /processes (like Rally, Kanban)

• Willingness to learn new technologies

• Knowledge of Marketing & Sales systems and business processes

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management

• Knowledge of API’s and Micro services architectures

• Solution Architecture skills - Experience with multi-tier architecture applications

• Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timelines

• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)
