Ford Motor Company Pricing CoE - IMG Analyst in Chennai, India
The GRM - Pricing Analyst has the day-to-day responsibility for Pricing & Re-pricing parts and help foster FCSD business growth. The Analyst must have a strong Finance domain knowledge, processes, and vision to ensure that the teams' activities are driving towards the desired goal. Together with the Pricing Manager, Finance Team and PCM Team is the primary day-to-day pricing decision maker for all program issues for IMG and FVA project. The Analyst must have a drive to learn new systems, support UAT and support launching Pricing Systems. The Analyst must have an excellent analytical skills and help developing strategies for effective data analysis and reporting selecting, configuring and implementing analytics solutions
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Perform new parts pricing, repricing within stipulated time and ensure adequate checks before price changes are effective in the system
Ensure audits and compliance are adhered – MCRP, DRIM, AFR, ACR etc..
Manage pricing through GPARTS / GPPT. Identify pain points between GPARTS vs Downstream system (PANDA/CBS/SAP etc..) and highlight w/ IT, business teams and ensure resolution with cross functional teams on Cost, Part availability, Competitive data, MLI etc..
Support adhoc management studies & requests
Publish price files to dealers and distributors correctly and timely
Timely resolution on VOR Queries
Improve efficiency in manual processes like MLI reallocation, Price harmonization , Competitive Data capture etc.
Improve pricing analysis and participate in standardization initiatives, develop new ideas, simplify processes, and perform process improvements
Resolve challenges while pricing parts working with cross functional team -- Cost, Part availability, Competitive data, MLI, IT related etc.
Improve pricing analysis and participate in standardization initiatives (Incl. developing business case and proposals)
Track cost increases across markets through 1H to assess the Freight risk and proactively flag any gap to target
Develop strong connect with the market and their decisions, become “Part of the Team”
Sustain current process and look for improvements of regular activities through automations
Continue to develop/strengthen processes and resolve system issues; move towards GPARTS pricing
Develop controls and backups; foster official and personal wellbeing by “Helping Each Other”
Qualifications Required:
Graduate in Engineering, CA, ICWA, MBA-Finance
strong knowledge of Finance domain, service parts business
GSR 6 and GSR 7 can apply
