Corporate Communications enable the sharing of corporate strategy, news, and events with employees, retirees, and media. The applications in the department include the @FordOnline employee portal and the Media.Ford.com and Media.Lincoln.com websites. The team has full-stack development responsibility for @FordOnline, Media.Ford.com, and Media.Lincoln.com, building the web front ends using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
What you'll do...
Provide IT development, integration, and operational support (DevOps) for @FordOnline and Media.Ford.com digital properties hosted on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The position is a front-end developer role that requires one to understand the overall technical solution and work with multiple Ford IT teams to develop AEM components and single-page applications (SPA) as needed. The individual will work mostly on the @FordOnline site (with some exposure to the Media site) - designing, developing, and implementing new features and enhancements based upon a prioritized backlog.
Develop application enhancements and features using Adobe Experience Manager.
Liaison between the dev teams and Ford IT teams to develop and implement applications that meet business requirements.
Utilize CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deploy.
You'll have...
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or prior experience in software development systems.
3 years of web development experience
Technical background in the following: Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Marketing Cloud products, web development, knowledge of Rest API using SpringBoot, experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Technical background in the following: Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Marketing Cloud products, web development, knowledge of Rest API using SpringBoot, experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Front-End experience: HTML, Javascript, CSS, React, AEM HTL Templating Language
Even better, you may have...
Preferred experience using DevOps tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and Maven.
Good communication skills written and oral.
