The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Technology Platform Program Management, you will lead elements of the Technical Program Management for Embedded Platforms, part of the EVDD team accelerating and modernizing the culture of software development. This role is responsible for building and implementing the culture and processes enabling the continuity and speed of product development and delivery. You will collaborate extensively with design, engineering, and a team of technical program managers to help evolve the connected embedded systems.

This person will:

• Partner with the Head of Platform Architectures and their teams, to agree and define a technology roadmap, focused on the platform requirements of the future features a systems.

• Support and drive all delivery teams to ensure delivery of the commitments.

• Ensure all work is transparently planned and tracked in JIRA.

• Report appropriately on the progress, including against expectations.

• Lead communication planning to ensure customers and users of the systems are always informed.

Functional & Technical Knowledge

The minimum requirements we seek

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.

• 5+ years in program or operational management of embedded systems.

• Innate understanding of technical program management.

• The ability to comprehend end to end system of systems; and the ability to rapidly understand concerns and provide a way forward for the organization to maintain its commitment to delivery.

• Experience driving large organizational, operational, and cultural transformations that lead to improved business outcomes.

• A deep well of experience and perspectives: a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or business; or equivalent industry experience at tech and/or automotive companies.

• Comfortable with ambiguity – demonstrated ability to structure an approach to complex problems and drive clarity on solutions.
