Exciting position to engineer best seat systems using highly sophisticated CAE simulations.

  • Conduct daily CAE assessment for seat structure development to meet safety requirements of FMVSS, ECE, AIS, IIHS, etc.

  • Lead the global seat CAE supporting team to provide quality models, baseline analyses, iterations.

  • Conduct test/CAE correlation to support program and to improve CAE method confidence.

  • Develop new seat CAE methods.

  • Lead the CAE team in engineering issue resolution.

  • Work across seat and body CAE groups to optimize entire system.

  • Learn and share new technical findings in the interior CAE department.

  • 15+ years CAE experience in automotive.

  • 15+ years in non-linear LSDYNA applying in seat, body, vehicle structure analyses.

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Engineering.

  • Experienced in every aspect of seat CAE analyses supporting all FMVSS, ECE, AIS, IIHS requirements.

  • Experienced in conducting seat structure analysis in body system.

  • Experienced as technical team leader of an offshore modeling and analysis team.

  • Personal hands-on experience in complex modeling of seat and body structures.

  • Demonstrate highly teamwork working behaviors.

  • Highly skills in all LSDYNA, Hypermesh, Ansa, Primer codes.

  • Demonstrate experience in test/CAE correlation and method improvement.

  • Linear Nastran skill is a plus.

  • Experienced in Ford Product Development System and environment is preferred.
