Ford Motor Company Production Services Administrator - Dealer Training & Productivity in Dearborn, Michigan

The Production Services Administrator is part of our Dealer Training and Productivity team and will work closely with the in-house video production department. The individual in this role will assist the production team with day-to-day operations, including reconciling budgets, organizing schedules, managing expenses, and helping coordinate travel for our mobile production team.

The Global Dealer Training & Productivity team helps dealers work smarter, not harder, with targeted training, data, strategy and more. Together, our team:

  • Ensures dealers have the content and training they need when they need it. Our focus is delivering unified coaching, a data-driven ecosystem and new productivity technologies so the right content, by the right people, reaches them at the right time.

  • Helps dealers become more strategic in diagnosing gaps and developing solutions

  • Equips dealers with what they need to succeed and help them develop into trusted advisors to customers

  • Works with dealers to improve business metrics, lower turnover, and increase customer satisfaction

  • Responds to a shifting customer base with diverse preferences to transform customer experiences

To be completed prior to Discovery Call with the recruiter. The Production Services Administrator, Dealer Training & Productivity will have two primary responsibilities as part of our in-house video production team. First, this candidate will help assist the production management team with day-to-day office operations. This person is not an executive assistant, but rather a key member of our production management team. They will oversee the auditing our production equipment, track equipment returning from shoots, assist with operational purchases, and keying expenses into our expense reporting system. This individual will have excellent organizational skills, because they will be assisting with the management of busy schedules, they will help coordinate production and creative meetings, and help keep track of crew vacation and personal time. Second, this candidate will be certified in CPR and have basic first-aid training. During certain production shoots, you may be asked to serve as our on-set medic by helping administer basic first aid, assist with heling keep our team hydrated, and in an emergency be able to perform CPR and contact local medical responders. Candidates with medical backgrounds, or medical office administration backgrounds, are encouraged to apply to this hybrid work position, which will afford you the flexibility of working from, depending on production workload. Please note this position has specific certification requirements, which are outlined in the qualifications section below.

You'll have…

  • High School Diploma

  • 2+ years work experience in a high-paced, technical work environment (managing budgets, tracking inventory, maintaining technical equipment, etc)

  • 2+ years’ experience managing schedules in an ever-changing environment

  • CPR certification, general first aid skill set

Even better, you may have…

  • Associate's Degree

  • 5+ years work experience in a high-paced, technical work environment

  • 5+ years work experience in a medical environment

  • Certified in CPR with an understanding of emergency response

  • Ability to think differently and offer creative solutions to problems

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
