Internal Auditor – Ford of Europe

to join our General Auditors’ Office (GAO) in our Szentendre location.

What will your daily tasks be as a Internal Auditor?

• Conduct business interviews in order to document key business process control points and assess business risk

• Assess the effectiveness of the operational and financial control environment and identify risk areas

• Review control weaknesses with operational management to ensure acceptance and understanding

• Follow-up on control improvement actions and self-assessment findings assessed as “High Risk”

• Ensure that action plans are appropriate and timely

• Lead or support departmental / Global project initiatives including process improvements and training initiatives.

We will support your development with additional tasks like:

• Advising potential control improvement actions to be taken by operating management

• Presenting (voluntary) to large internal GAO audiences at monthly All-Hands meetings or bi-annual regional meetings as a self-development opportunity

• Using analytical techniques through dashboards and Alteryx

Are we looking for you? Yes, if….

• You have 3+ years audit working experience (internal control experience can be an advantage)

• You have experience of interacting with management at all levels

• You are confident in working in English and Hungarian with multinational colleagues from all around Europe

• You have the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and candidly in both verbal and written form

• You are able to work effectively, with limited oversight and deliver to tight deadlines whilst ensuring process discipline

• You have strong business acumen and analytical skills

Additional Information:

• Travel – As the role covers Ford’s business across Europe, a high level of travel will be required. Approximately 50% of the calendar year could be spent travelling outside of your home location.

• Full training on the audit process and systems will be provided.

• The successful candidate would be encouraged to study towards the CIA qualification unless they hold an equivalent qualification.
