About the Role

Ford Integrated Services Marketing is seeking a Manager of Messaging & Content Strategy to join our growing Brand & Content team, reporting to the Director, Brand & Content. This role is crucial in developing and executing compelling messaging for individual products in Ford’s portfolio, and for cross-portfolio messaging.

In this role you’ll work closely with Product, Product Marketing and Business teams to translate complex product offerings into simple customer messages. You’ll be responsible for developing a strategic architecture that helps to organize how products are launched in-market with customers. You’ll also lean into Research & Data to regularly inform and optimize messaging strategy.

What you'll do…

  • Utilize consumer data, market insights and audience analysis to ground a data-driven approach to messaging strategies

  • Responsible for driving team clarity on market dynamics and competitive trends to inform messaging strategy

  • Identifying and prioritizing key research initiatives on behalf of broader MarCom team

  • Develop and execute comprehensive messaging strategies for Integrated Services focused on deep customer targeting research

  • Develop comprehensive strategy that is easily digestible to internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure strategy is implemented into creative briefings and final creative products.

  • Analyze content performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize content strategies based on data insights

This role is able to work remotely in the USA.

You'll have…

  • Bachelor’s degree or professional equivalent

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on messaging, content strategy, and communications

Even better, you may have…

  • Proven experience developing and implementing content strategies for complex products, services or portfolio offerings. Subscription/DTC experience a plus.

  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing, DTC, digital marketing and KPIs

  • Passion for data & analytics to inform content insights

  • Bias for action towards optimizing performance

  • Experience working in the automotive and/or technology industries (not mandatory)

  • Ability to prioritize work across engagements based on short and long-term needs
