With a career on the Ford Communications team, you can bring the message of our exciting innovations to the world! You’ll help build and protect our global reputation, build stakeholder trust, and further our mission of becoming the world’s most trusted mobility company. You’ll be part of a dedicated organization delivering best-in-class, high-impact communications programs that support our innovations, industry leadership and commitment to social responsibility.

  • Develop the leadership identity for the General Manager of the Security team, supporting his public-facing work and helping to establish his role as the face of security at Ford.

  • Work real time with the Security team to handle comms around vehicle theft events, vehicle recovery stories, and interactions between Ford and law enforcement.

  • Support the development of communications at the intersection of privacy, data utilization, and security products.

  • Support the launch of new products

  • Support Integrated Services internal communications

You'll have...

  • 5+ years of effective communications and business experience in a complex organization, with a focus on writing and media relations in a corporate or agency environment.

  • Experience (or interest in) executive communications development

  • A head for process and the creativity to break it when you need to.

  • The ability to work and make decisions independently and as part of a team

  • A cool head when working on high-stakes projects with many contributors

  • Confidence in the different skillsets and working styles needed for internal and external communications.

  • An interest in technology, design, and the future.

Even better, you may have...

  • 8 years of effective communications and business experience in a complex organization, with a focus on writing and media relations in a corporate or agency environment.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above?
