Ford Motor Company Lead Design Engineer in Shanghai, China
-Lead the Design Feasibility FC / K-Loop Process from FC0 to FAA, including the Design
-Development Checklists, Hardpoints Plan, completion of FC / K-Loop deliverables, and the balancing of function and l and attribute trade-offs for design feasibility the progression.
-Lead pre-FC3 design feasibility engineering activity by providing conceptual support and feasibility integration of upper body functional requirements in support of the design and design feasibility development.
-Lead the development of CAD Based Zone Layouts for Studio Design Feasibility with the integration of function feasibility and Design requirements I support the design and design feasibility progression.

Bachelor's degree in industrial design, transportation design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Ability to concept surface and engineering proposals in CATIA, Alias or other relevant software.
5+ years of outstanding design, packaging, and 3D CATIA/3Dx modeling skills
Familiarity with vehicle layout/package, body and trim, production process, latest automotive trends, regulations, & consumer ratings that guide vehicle product advancements & constraints.
Hands on experience in narrowing product scope and facilitating decisions on complex product, including leading and presenting to decision making forums.
Big picture mindset and passion for engineering of innovative, breakthrough, and class leading products.
Demonstrated experience in design studio procedures and progression, and ability to provide a creative and engineering focus to enable creative vehicle-level solutions & alternatives in support of Design.
