Ford Motor Company 3D Process Manager – Digital in China
The 3D Process Manager – Digital specializes in creating and managing 3D digital models during the development phase of our programs. This role requires a profound understanding of Class-A electronic math models, modeling software, techniques, and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality Class-A digital models.
Lead the Digital Modeling Team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality Class-A digital models supporting studio feasibility gateways.
Drive the incorporation of engineering constraints, craftsmanship, system compatibility into Class A surface models.
Engage with Designers, Physical Modeling, Visualization, and Studio Engineers to gather information for digital model development.
Demonstrate proficiency in ICEM Surf, ALIAS Auto Studio, or CATIA ICEM Surf Design software.
Maintain strong knowledge of Class A Design Development and Surface Verification process and tools.
Focus on developing and refining electronic math models that incorporate attribute and engineering requirements while preserving the desired design intent direction.
Extensive experience in Class A surface development and 3D digital modeling.
Proficiency in relevant modeling software (ICEM Surf, ALIAS Auto Studio, CATIA, etc.).
Strong technical expertise in digital model creation and management.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
