Ford Motor Company Product Manager, Ford Pro Charging (EU) in United Kingdom

The ideal candidate is an early to mid-seasoned product manager who has experience with B2B SaaS products and EV charging experience. Familiarity with commercial fleet products is a plus but more importantly, experience shipping product and understanding how to drive adoption. Should have atleast one or more product management experiences relevant to fleet EV charging.

General duties:

  • Empathize with EV commercial customers and create user journey’s that stimulate new product ideas.

  • Capture compelling product requirements documents (PRD) and translate customer requirements to product engineering teams

  • Help define/write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria run and create prioritized backlog for cross functional teams

  • Develop strategy and customer roadmaps working collaboratively with Ford Pro and other cross functional for your respective product to land innovative and user –friendly experiences

  • Partner with sales/marketing, legal, security, privacy, and functional safety teams while not compromising human-centered experiences

  • Work with engineering teams to understand the enablers for new product creation and possess curiosity about the use of data to enable more valuable products and services to Ford customers

  • Create, measure and monitor customer centric metrics for the products owned

  • Conduct user experience testing and coordinate various testing activities as required for product launches

  • Coordinates go to market planning, product launch and own the operationalization your product

  • Be accustomed to operating agile, quickly to meet customer product demand and pivot when required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields of study

  • Strong empathy for commercial customers, with high focus on quality data e.g. NPS while understanding error state mitigation techniques to improve overall experiences

  • Strong awareness of B2B commercial landscape in relation to EV charging at home/public/depot.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working at or with EV ecosystem partners such as CPOs, eMSPs and roaming partners.

  • Experience developing contractual frameworks and outlining the product expectations, privacy concerns and product boundary conditions.

  • Ability to solve EV charging complexity and deliver the best fleet charging experiences, including rapid experimentation to validate hypotheses.

  • Proven problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to operate in a white space environment generating insights to create and tell a story

  • Leverage strong commercial acumen to prioritise top market opportunities, contribute to pricing decisions and partner on go-to-market strategies.

  • Strong cross-functional relationship-building and communication skills

  • Comfortable operating in a diverse Global team in highly ambiguous scenarios

  • Ability to effectively work across all levels of the organization to achieve organizational objective

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams consisting of experts from various disciplines within the company and collaborative partners, leveraging their strengths.

  • High degree of self-initiative, drive and flexibility

Additional Information

  • This role is primarily based at Stratford Here East office with occasional travel to Dunton Ford office.
