Ford Motor Company Technical Product Manager in Mexico

This position provides IT leadership, vision, expertise, and solutions to ensure integration with local business, dealers and IT. The position will identify customer needs that a product will fulfil, will articulate what success looks like for a product or solution and manage an agile team to turn that vision into a reality.

  • Provide Leadership and support to reporting Applications for Dealers to aid in the visualization and tools to display key performance indicators between dealers and local business.

  • Innovate and iterate on PDO processes, lean practices, agile practices and share the learnings.

  • Guides PDO teams to ensure program and/or project goal alignment with the company’s objectives through Demand and Value Management Services.

  • Directs the development of the operational support strategy for the products.

  • Develops budget and financial plans for programs.

  • Ensures the appropriate use of product management and demand management tools, techniques, processes, and methods as Product Backlogs and capacity plans

  • Ensures effective integration management throughout the lifecycle of the products

  • Scan global environment for latest trends and news in policies, technologies, and tools.

  • Provides governance and operations to manage product Stakeholders, Dealers IT Business and IT

  • Builds strong relationships with business partners and senior executives. Including Dealers IT Managers, DMS’s representative, Local Business and IT

  • Drives efforts to keep abreast of external and internal products, industry benchmarking, and other competitive information.

  • Supports the change management strategy and process and ensures awareness of corrective actions to deliver value plans.

  • Helps identify necessary resources and provides training on tools and techniques.

  • Ensures engagement across functional teams: IT, Finance, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Service and any regional or global specific processes.

  • Develops, implements, and reports performance and process metrics to enable IT decision making and mitigate and/or reduce risks.

  • Establishes assessment roadmaps and optimization of security solutions.

  • Be a visible technical leader that advocates for the Enterprise Technology Refresh program and for the importance of staying in the latest trends in technology

  • Drive and lead technical decisions related to technologies used in FoM applications.

  • Provide automation solutions for processes for IT and local business.

  • Guides, coaches, influences, and manages business value realization for programs and/or projects.

  • Further develop and deepen technical knowledge to share it back to IT.

Minimum qualifications

  • S trong Knowledge on software development principles, agile methodologies and architecture (+ 3 years)

  • Technical knowledge on:

Alteryx (+1 year) or Qlik Sense (+ 1 year)

  • Good understanding of Web services, REST APIs, Google Cloud Platform, JSON. (+1 year)

  • Experience leading an Agile team (+3 years)

  • English proficiency (written and verbal)

  • Knowledge on Financial processes to support project administration

  • Experience migrating and upgrading systems or platforms

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Pega or another automation tool.

  • Python

  • HTML5

  • SQL and Data manipulation

  • Java

  • Experience with DevSecOps and Security Standards

  • Use of Dev Tools (GitHub, SonarQube, Tasktop, Rally, Fossa, Checkmark, Cycode, etc)

  • Knowledge of NIST Standards, ISO 27001, OWASP, OAuth, Entra ID and/or other security software related standards and technologies

  • Knowledge of latest programming languages, frameworks and techniques (Java Spring boot, Angular, Postgres DB, etc)
