You'll be working alongside experienced Mass Properties engineers and will have the chance to develop your skills in different areas.
What you´ll do:
As a Mass Properties Ford Champ, you'll play a key role in supporting the Mass Properties team at Ford Motor Company. You'll be involved in a variety of projects, including:
Metrics Analysis: Conducting statistical analysis of vehicle weight data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential cost savings.
Process Improvement: Participating in 2-3 core process improvement projects per year, focusing on optimizing Mass Properties processes.
Program Support: Assisting with program activities by analyzing production data and conducting PDL analysis to ensure vehicle leevl Mass Properties targets are met.
What you´ll need:
Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of mechatronics, electrical or electronics engineering
90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and an understanding of macros.
Data Analysis: Experience with statistical analysis software like Minitab.
Vehicle Subsystems: A general knowledge of vehicle subsystems and parts.
Programming (Desirable): Familiarity with PowerApps or other programming tools.
Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
