Ford Motor Company UI/UX Designer and Graphic Designer - Business Office and Innovation in Mexico

The UI/UX Designer and Graphic Designer in the Business Office and Innovation area at Ford is responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for applications and systems used in the business environment supporting Business Office, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence, ensuring they align with business objectives and drive innovation. Additionally, this role involves creating effective communication strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, conducting usability research, and staying updated on UI/UX best practices and emerging technologies.

Specific tasks/responsibilities

  • Design attractive and functional user interfaces for applications and systems within the business and innovation environment, ensuring ease of use and alignment with business goals.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand user needs and design user-centered solutions that drive innovation and efficiency.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform UI/UX design solutions that enhance productivity and user experience.

  • Stay updated on UI/UX design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies for effective application in the business and innovation context.

  • Develop graphic design elements and visual assets to enhance the overall user experience and branding of business needs (applications, systems and communications, etc.)

  • Create communication strategies to effectively convey design concepts and user experience goals to stakeholders and team members.

  • Work closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of design solutions and maintain clear communication throughout the process.

Skills Required for the Position

  • Strong UI/UX design experience.

  • Proficiency in design tools and software (Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Ilustrator, After Effects)

  • Experience with user research and usability testing.

  • Graphic design skills and experience creating visual assets.

  • Ability to develop effective communication strategies.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in UI/UX design.

  • Ability to adapt to changing business and innovation requirements and learn to work across hierarchy and with ambiguity.

  • Degreed of Graphic Designer or User Experience/User Interface Designer or similar.

  • English proficiency.
